Home/Business High Security Safe
Most safes offer either burglary or fire resistance, rarely both, especially in this class. The all new HS SERIES is designed and constructed to sufficiently withstand both! With 90 minutes of fire protection, Manganese hard plate, glass relocked and a TL-30 locking mechanism, this safe stands in a class of its own. Perfect for storing both valuables and documents.
Door
The HS body is constructed of inner and outer electronically welded steel plates including our “Z” reinforcement bars cover the entire door. A manganese hardened steel plate protects the door and vital mechanism areas from drilling. The door has an overall thickness of 5 1/2” (140mm) and a barrier thickness of 2 1/2” (65mm). The specific arrangement and choice of the high-tech barrier materials is what gives the door superior resistance to a consistent and concentrated burglary attack with a wide range of modern tools.
Body
The HS series body is constructed of inner and outer electrically welded steel plates including our “Z” reinforcement bars welded to the inner and outer body that together with an advanced composite material form a 3” (75mm) thick wall creating an exceptionally strong body protecting various methods of attack.
Boltwork and relocking mechanism
Megasafe’s patented 3 way, laser-cut locking mechanism activates massive 1 3/8’’ bolts. Static bolts secure the door on the hinge side. A glass plate protects the vital mechanism area. An attack by tool, torch, or explosive will shatter the glass activating 2 independent relocating devices thus preventing the safe from being opened. Finally, for added security, each bolt locks into individual chambers.
Locks
The HS Series is equipped with a Group 2 UL listed mechanical combination lock. Each safe has a ready preparation for fitting a second UL listed key lock. A UL listed electronic combination lock can also be fitted on safe as an optional extra.
