The Chubb Bankers Treasury is a high security safe providing the high degree of burglar protection that today’s Banks, Jewelers, Building Societies, and other organizations holding large amounts of cash and valuables demand. The Bankers Treasury was carefully researched and developed with the design emphasis placed on the severity and increasing number of sophisticated tools and attack techniques available to today’s criminal. Manufactured using the revolutionary Chubb torch and drill resisting barrier material, the Chubb Bankers Treasury provides excellent resistance to all known practical forms of attack including disc cutters, drills, percussion tools, oxy-acetylene, oxy-arc and explosives.

CONSTRUCTION

The body consists of inner and outer steel plates enclosing a seamless casting of Chubb Anti-Arc barrier material which coupled with outer body and body lining steel gives a barrier thickness of 68mm. The door has a total thickness of 190mm and consists of inner and outer steel plates enclosing Chubb Anti-Arc material which contains a high concentration of very hard abrasion resistant material providing excellent protection against all forms of mechanical and oxygen cutting tools.

BOLTWORK

The Door is secured by 38mm diameter moving bolts which extend from all four sides of the door. When the safe is in the locked position, the unique Chubb Isolator completely disconnects the bolt throwing handle from the mechanism. The Bankers Treasury is fitted with glass and other re-lockers ensuring the bolts win extended under attack.

LOCKING

The Bankers Treasury is fitted as standard with two high security Chubb locks. Each lock can either be a high security eight lever lock with detachable key bit or a high security four wheel combination lock capable of 100,000,000 differing combinations, which can be fitted with a sight screen and dial check lock.
